bad news everyone. A few weeks ago I was driving on the highway, and there was a block of wood in the middle of the road. Saw it too late to avoid it. Front right tire took the full impact at 75mph. Initially thought it was just wheel damage. I took it in to be looked at.

The force of the impact caused the suspension to hit the underside of the hood, damaging it, as well as the fender. Put in the insurance claim, got parts ordered, etc. Found out today, the impact also damaged the firewall....which is unrepairable. My Camaro is a Total Loss according to my insurance...Poor thing only had 12.8k miles.
