I'm not reffering to track driving. But yes spirited driving. And the Hydroplaning/waterski issue was because of DD. He said he DD the car. You don't want to have a setup you Don't want to drive |

So I should air these up at 50 psi or a little less?
Edit: well I looked it up and it seems I should still go by the door jam which would be 36 psi even though it's a different setup that doesn't change.

I havent had an issue with my 315/275 set up, I have pushed it in turns with of course the gf screaming on my side to slow down which in courages me me to go faster, and the overall feel to me is a lot better than the stock set up, and I have also driven the car in a down pour and the toyo proxies 4 plus tires did awesome, so in my opinion would I have done a different size or tire now no way

You'll want to go with the door jam pressure. The 50lb or whatever on the tire is the max volume of air the tire can hold, it doesn't account for load.
I'm not so sure about wider fronts creating more understeer. Although they will increase the amount of force needed to turn the steering wheel. The wider rears may make it seem like there's more understeer because it will reduce oversteer, which is a tactic used to reduce understeer. The wider fronts will not reduce the turn circle in slow driving parking lot situations. You may however experience some wheel skipping in those situations. Wider tires will also make you more susceptible to trammeling, or the tires catching the grooves on the street. As far as wet driving, it is wholly dependent on the tires ability to push water out from under it. Some are better than others, I suppose. Save your skinnies if you do any driving in the slushy stuff. A wide tire, all season or not, is less effective in snow and slush. |

I have the same set up 275/40R/20 & 315/35R/20 and I take corners real fast without hesitation. No problem in the rain too...
Tire pressure for me is 34 - 36 My car also is lowered and I love the look as well as everyone else too Enjoy your set up

Running anywhere from 35-37lbs. 38lbs shows up on hot days sometimes.

I run mine at 36 cold on all 4 corners. I have the 275/315 set up as well. Just recently changed the rear tires to the nitto NT05 from the invos. Still running the invos up front. The rear invo's were good but the NT05's are much better in the grip department but sacrafice's some mileage. The front invo's still have lots of life in them and they have great steering response, solid side wall feel and grip really well.
