Guys I need to ask a real noobish question. Sorry I don't mean to jack the thread here but, I have never driven on the drag strip, so I don't have any real knowledge of what you mean when you say "slip the clutch" .......Without hijacking the OP's thread can I get a quick explanation?

It is letting out the clutch enough to where it starts moving the car but not completely out making the clutch solid.. Essentially it is exactly what is sounds like.. The clutch is slipping. It allows you to keep traction and not bog the motor when done right..

Ok got it, and thank you. I need to get myself to the track! Sounds so fun! So much to learn.

Thanks again

I asked this question on the "Drag Strip" thread but did not get an answer so maybe someone here knows. When all the nannies are off, which of the three ZL 1 suspension modes is activated? I have been launching in PTM 5 with "track" suspension mode but want to try launch without nannies. Does suspension mode matter? Can you select suspension mode when nannies are off? Any advice would be appreciated. 2014 ZL1 M6

My best results were with everything turned off. You can only select either Sport or Tour mode with the "nannies" turned completely off. Use Sport because it has higher effort steering.

My updated time on the car is 12.46 @116mph. I run the same time with my tires deflated to 17psi and not deflating them at all. I keep my car in mode 2 with traction control and stability control off.

Looks like you might have hit a 1.9X 60' and getting better. Mode 2 still has traction and stability on just not as much of it.

No I haven't been able to run my car because I got some new rims. To make a long story short I'm waiting for my extended studs before I run my car again.
