Well i had already gone to a plug that was WAY colder by recommendation of my friend that has been helping me tune the engine. I'm not 100% certain how much colder as I went to a Denso ITV plug, and don't quite understand their heat ranges. Their stock replacement recommendation is an ITV16, there is no 18, and then a 20,22, and 24 is available. For denso, higher # = colder. So seeing as an 18 isn't available, is the 20 one step colder or two? Who knows?

I was recommended to go to the ITV24, and immediately felt it fall on it's face and we've been chasing the tune for awhile to get it back. Tune friend says that at some point might need to go back to the 24, but for now I swapped the ITV20 plugs in yesterday and its much better.

So I went from stock, to too cold, to closer to stock heat range.

If you are on the stock tune, no need to change plugs, leave your stock plugs

Jason, would you be willing to share your tune? Seeing the trial and error of others work is a good way for us to collectively become better, right?

I sent you a message yesterday on the HPTuners forum. Hit me up over there...

I've started playing with the transmission, pretty sure I found the limit of shift speed (at least on the 3-4 shift)... It's always shifted faster than commanded, say .15, and it completes the shift in .125... I changed it to .100 and boy did it not like that! Thought the transmission was going to fall right out the back of the car... I really think we don't have the needed tables to get the trans shifting rippen fast.

Yesterday I had a feeling today would be the day I posted here again... I have the trans shifting pretty good. Really happy with the 1-2 and 3-4 shifts. Need to work on the 2-3 now, 4-5 shifts fast, need to try and firm it up a little more.

HPT says this is a 3.910 sec run.

That is amazing! If you kept that kind of steam going the whole way down the track, it would be a mid-low 12 second pass!

Your pics don't show. That's a pretty good 1/4 mile run!

Here's a video of a 4.0 sec 0-60

Full Auto, I'd bet. You can't out shift the computer.

Just letting the transmission do it's thing, (with adjusted shift times and pressures of course)... I very very rarely use the paddle shifters, and never during actual drag racing, or going for quick 0-60 times.

Update please

Finished water/meth install and working on retune to take advantage. My 3-4 shift is messed up now. Might have to slow down the shift with all the extra power I guess...

W/m inj picked up .6 in the 0-100
