Zl1 mid pipe opinions

So I need your guys help/opinion. So I ordered the corsa axle back with the valves and I also wanted to order the mid pipe from corsa but they’ve discontinued it due to emissions laws. The mid pipe I’m referring to, for anyone who doesn’t know, is the double helix x pipe that bolts to the cats on the headers? I guess, I’m not too sure if it’s the primary cats but that’s what I think it is.
ANYWAYS, corsa released a new mid pipe but it’s after the secondary cats and the whole reason I wanted the double helix was so I didn’t have to cut it up.
But my question is, has anyone used any other mid pipe other than corsa and have good results with it? And also are there any that are bolt up the same way as the corsa one.

Mid pipe

I have 2 inch headers with borla resonator and x pipe to the factory muffler. With no cats. Sounds great and you keep the npp

I have the same questions since i am also looking at the same Corsa setup. I dont want to cut up the factory exhaust but it looks like there is no other option anymore

Would this Corsa catted x-pipe bolt directly to the Borla S exhaust or other non Corsa exhausts?

I misspoke - it connects behind the factory cats- They are 3 inch pipes and they connect to factory and Corsa axlebacks so I assume that they should. Otherwise I am sure a competent exhaust shop could put a flange on it to connect to the system of your choice.

If I was ready to void my warranty I’d just go long tubes and not even worry about it. But I’m not ready yet so I’m just looking for a way around it for now haha. I got in touch with stainless works and they are pretty against selling the x pipe alone, they want you to buy the mufflers as well. So I’m still just a little stuck on what to do.
