If u know someone with a gds they can set the warning to a lower psi

Well, I checked pressures before driving it to work this morning.

Turns out, I had the rears at 32 psi each and the front at 34.

I have lowered the rears to 28.

I would think the lower psi you used on a 20" may be needed but maybe not as low with a larger sidewall like the 17s. Guess it is a matter of trial and error.

Curious how many of you had your tires heat treated prior to putting them on the car?

Are most of yall using the 305/35/20 on stock wheels? I run mine at 30 fwiw.

I ask because I just saw they also have 305/30s...

My NT555RII's are stock size on stock wheels, 305/30 20. I run them at 28 PSI on the street.

SS runs taller tires then ZL1 but ZL1 runs wider. Since you have a SS I would go with the 295/35/20 555R2 on the stock wheel. I put the 305/35/20 on my stock wheels and it's a touch too wide but still works. I didn't realize they run wider then the previous gen 555r which fit the stock wheel about perfect. I will likely get the 295/35/20 next time I need tires.

I've had mine out at low as 45°F and they don't really complain, in fact they are better than the stock GYSC at this temp, LOL

Since the retune, I lowered my rears to 28psi cold and still spin. I may try 26 or 27. Again, these are on 17s.

28 isn't low enough... you are going to have to get them down to around 23-24psi and heat them up a little for a launch. I see a 2 tenth difference on my 0-60 time and 2 tenth on my 60ft going from 28-30psi down to 23 psi.

I had set them at 28 cold a couple days ago and as we get better weather finally i noticed today they were at 26 cold. How are they driving when going down to 23 cold? Guess that will appx 25/6 when hot? I don't want to drive around town with them too low if its gonna feel mushy.
