10,000 miles a year is low. Not sure about over miles penalty. Might be a deal for a low mileage owner.

Ya, I don't put 10,000/year on any vehicle I've ever owned. That being said, I'd never lease a vehicle.

While it is indeed enticing, the depreciation rates used obviously aren’t fully taking into account current trade-in or resale markets at the moment.
As this is what is roughly a 3yr lease, I wonder if the used market will balance out by then. If you lease one the market at the time of lease end may means you will probably be paying more if you decide to buy it. If the markets normalize you will be bit better off than just buying it outright at the beginning. |

Depends on the person and how often they drive. For example, my Camaro was purchased at the end of February and I only have 2100 miles on mine. OP that is a killer deal for a lease. |

For someone who always wanted a V8 Camaro but can't afford the high payments there going to pull the trigger. If they do and decide to buy after the lease is up your looking at another 5 to 6 years on top of the 3 years of lease payments you already paid. So it's 8 or 9 years to pay off the Camaro but now a days with cars and trucks costing so much car loans have been going 6, 7 even 8 years to pay off any how.

Never lease a car with the intent to buy. Save until you can afford it. That's a good offer if you will use it 10,000 miles a year!

It’s a great deal for someone that leases, obviously not for someone intending to buy. I’m not sure why that even needs to be said.

Totally depends on discounts available on a purchase . For example when I bought at the end of the 2016 MY Chevy was doing 20pct off. So I bought a $44K car for $35K - $9K discount from sticker. Now 4 years later my car is worth $4-5K less than I paid for it. And that’s a 1SS convertible. Vs this lease deal has Aprox $10K in depreciation. Which might be overstated. Problem is they use msrp as the basis but these cars tend to be discounted $3-6K depending so that’s 1/3 to 1/2 the depreciation you pay for on this lease.
So it’s a good lease as far as that goes but it may still not be the cheapest way to own the car even for 3-4 years. Also depends on your local sales taxes. |

Maybe I missed it, but I didn't see it mentioned if it was a bare bones LT1 or just any LT1. Anyone know?

The offer from Chevy says its for a 2021 CHEVROLET Camaro Coupe 1LZ w/10-speed automatic. What is a 1LZ? I don't see that listed for any of the trims for this car.
