GearHeasSS, what does this mean for people with 2021 Camaro orders? My order was made in February and has been at the 3100 stage.

At this point, I have no idea.

I understand and appreciate your input. I might give my dealer a call and see. Might try to switch my order to a truck if possible. I need a car sooner rather than later. I have more time to wait for a truck.

Thanks for the info even if it isn't what we wanted to hear.

I ordered on Feb 25 and it is still at 1100 even though the salesman and sales manager say they have allocation and don't know why it hasn't been accepted yet. I have no idea if I will ever get the '21, or if I decide to change it to a '22 order will they push back the start of them another month or two to finish some of the '21 orders. I'm willing to wait but Geesh, my car died last month and I really don't want to share my husband's truck anymore

I wanted a 1LE ever since I saw that prototype sketch back in 2012. Afters years of waiting for the right moment, I literally missed my chance by a week. I'm gutted...damn.

That is what I am looking to do now also. Was going to get a Silverado as I already have a 2019 C7. Changed my mind and had the dealer order a 2SS 1LE in mid Feb. Got to 3400 status then back down to 3100. Going to cancel and now looking at the Trail Boss again.

They are opening the line but they only have enough parts to build 300ish cars. Once those are built they are done with 2021.

There are 2000 plus Camaro's sitting in a lot waiting on 1 part if you have a car ordered it maybe there?

If the car is built and waiting on a part what would the order status number be? I'm 3100, so I am assuming I'm out of luck

If the car was built you would have a VIN number.

How do you know they only have enough for 300 cars? Is there an article somewhere?

The reason I asked the other day if your Dealer let you know production shut down or just didn't notify you at all is because I thought I may be able to help.

I sent the CEO a email earlier this week telling her how I was treated like I wasn't welcome as a customer etc. I got an email the next day asking for my phone from another lady. The following day I got a call asking me to explain more. The very nice lady told me that's not how they want their customers treated. She told me she needed to look into my story to verify and then she would like to try and get my car expedited.

She just called me back and did verify my story but told me there's nothing she can do because of the shutdown. She said she tried but there's nothing she can do. I'm not sure why that wasn't my first answer but there you have it.

I have no car after selling mine waiting for my new Badass Camaro that's not going to fkn happen. I gotta figure out what I'm going to do.
