I got one of those plaques that fit on the fuse box cover under the hood. I set it on the cover yesterday. I don't want to drill holes in the cover, so I think I might buy a spare cover so I can drill holes in that one. Either that or maybe I'll get a double sided tape, but I'd be afraid that wouldn't hold and it would fall off.

Double sided tape or velcro strips will work just fine, mine has been on using tape for two years and it's as tight as it ever was.

I really wish the car companies still had the protect-o-plate the old school muscle cars came with.

Is the vehicle-specific data on that plate stamped into the aluminum or printed?

I believe it's printed. There isn't any indents in the letters that would indicate it was stamped. Here is where I ordered it, if you have any specific questions. I ordered it with the clear coat.

Yup. Industrial strength velcro on mine. It’s been on about 3 years. Just ordered another plate that should get to me this week. The new plate lists my mods. I expect to be able to swap between them whenever I want. Will probably have the mod plate on when I drive to CamaroFest.

Pulled it out of the garage so my son and I could claybar / wax his car. Yep a Mustang. That is so much work!

Both cars look great, but the Camaro looks better. Are you still on friendly terms with your son? Lol.
