Newbie help. Axle back/lowering

Hi all just leased a 2021 LT1 and already itching for some upgrades. Only option is the carbon painted wheels so Im looking into making the exhaust a bit louder.

So...I don’t want to break the bank and came across the Legato exhaust which is cheap and seems to have the sound I want. However, according to website figment guides it doesn’t seem to fit camaros newer then 2019. Is that correct? Please confirm.

I’m also looking to slightly lower the car purely for aesthetics. This is a daily driver in NYC and will never be tracked or raced. Should I go for springs or BC coilovers? My concern is the lifespan of shocks on springs. Will they survive 30-40k?

If you are leasing that Camaro then I would not be spending any money on mods for it unless you plan to buy it when the lease is up.

It’s a 39 month lease. Just have to return it back to stock before giving it in.

You will probably need a catback exhaust then. I'm sure the dealer won't appreciate you cutting the OEM muffler to clamp the axleback on.

The dealer would never see it.

My Silverado went straight to the lift when I returned it so I get nervous doing anything I can't return 100% to stock. To be fair though I got a new Line x bedliner and they didn't give me heck about it

The dealers are not as dumb as people think they are! They might catch it and they might not. I wouldn’t be putting mods on a car that I was leasing but it’s your money to do what you want to do.

Do as you please but I would refrain from touching the car. That “legato” exhaust looks like complete garbage as well. Don’t ruin the car.
