Anyone Tracking MPG For Fun?

When I bought this 2018 ZL1 it was used and looks like the previous owner really babied this car big time. Probably mostly freeway miles and I was able to figure out which city she lived in as well.

The first picture is when I picked up the car with 22k miles back in Feb of 22, and I liked how she used trip A to track avg mpg. It hasn't really dropped too much since I owned it but working on it!

Last time I drove to the Dyno, I was as gentle as possible, and after 54 miles, and an average speed of 69mph, I was at 15.6mpg. I think my lifetime average (3,800 miles so far) is around 10.4mpg.

I, too, am about 3700-miles, and am at like 7 (lifetime)... The last 500-miles is on E', but the remaining in on 2650 and many many many WOT hits, lol...

Real-time MPG - on gasoline, I've seen almost 30-MPG, holding at 70-MPH.

Recently I wanted to see what I could get highway....dash said after 60 miles of driving 99% highway cruise set @65mph 29mpg. This is with the AFM/DOD turned OFF via range. I doubt it's actually that high but still impressive for a 455hp LT1

Yes, sometimes I try to get good gas mileage on the way to the track. This is the best I've been able to muster from NJ to Watkins Glen. ZLE has the short sixth gear, so highway cruising is at relatively high RPMs.

I have a spreadsheet on Google Sheets that I track every tank of fuel. So, yes.

One of these days just for the hell of it I'll take a long highway trip with the cruise set and see what I get. I have no doubt I can get what you got. Every summer I drive from CT to FL so maybe I'll take this car. I'd just have to stay out of the NY/PA/VA mountains. The air sucks! I usually don't use this car for that sort of trip though. I have a Honda for that shit

My lifetime average is 13.4 across 2k miles. The highest I've seen is around 21mpg on freeway cruising at 65mph. The short 6th gear in the ZLE hurts that number a bit.

If you have a Connected Services subscription or the free trial from OnStar, it tells you the lifetime MPG of the car. My lifetime MPG says 17.4 over 14k miles. I've only had the car since 11k miles and I am sure I'll raise that number.

The previous owner reset the trips when he bought the car at 2k miles from a dealership and he averaged 16.4 MPG.

I also track my gas fills as much as I can, there is a slight discrepancy in the MPG stated in the cluster and calculated MPG.

For my SS, I drove from Florida to Texas but unfortunately didn't reset the trip for that.

I find it interesting I'm getting almost the same MPG as when I had my tuned v6 (v6 with AFM turned off vs v8 with AFM on)

Here is my fuel usage over the time I've owned the car since buying it brand new. I use Fuelio on Android.

Oh man! I don't have a connected services subscription, but I'm pretty curious of the lifetime MPG given all the track days. I get between 3.2 and 3.5 MPG on track.
