Ordering a Rapid Blue WARNING

I recently purchased a 2023 2ss in Rapid Blue. Color is amazing but WARNING you will get pulled over. Ive had the car for about 6 weeks now and I get pulled over at least once a week. Once was because of no front license plate mounted but he didnt write me a ticket. He was more interested in asking me about the car

All the other times were questions about the color of my car. Every officer wanted to know. First few times was funny now its kind of annoying. Im thinking I should have gone with Shark Skin or Black IDK. So if you order this expect to be pulled over all the time. Anyone else have this issue???

I'm glad I ordered radiant red now, I guess you'll have to be extra careful driving. Sounds like a real pita.

lol. Ill see how it is this spring/summer for me i guess.

I am the only second Gen camaro of my color in my entire area. I have had the car for 17 years(im 34) and everyone knows it by the color and my plate. I have always been sure to not to draw to much attention because there is no blaming it on the other guy.

i have not seen a Rapid Blue here yet also.. Let alone a 1LE soo.. will be having the same conditions of keeping it low key for as long as i can lol

LOL! I've had my car for almost a year now and not been stopped once (knock on wood). I do have a lot of people comment on the color though.

yeah its such a nice color. Especially with the black rims. I have black forged chrome rims, black gas cap, black fender camaro badge. I wish I put some kind of black spoiler on. maybe at some point I will

Congratulations, your story is funny, well kinda, I had the same situation 30 yrs ago , in my 68 Corvette,I just finished. Got stopped a few times State Troopers, wanted to look at the Car. I was always nervous. Enjoy your Car .

Nothing pops like Shock. Be happy you dont have that like I do. You can do like me and get cop plates in an effort to get some forgiveness...LOL

As much as it literally pains me to do it I put the plate on the front and stopped inviting the man in to my life over petty crap. The last time he decided he need to get his little reader out and check my tint. I had enough of that stuff over the years over a front license plate. The ZL1 addon's tow hook mount works great. County Deputies in my area have a big veiny one over tint and plates and I couldn't tolerate them any longer.

The color...it sure does get noticed.

Have avoided "look at me colors" since days of driving a bright red ticket magnet. Enjoying "nobody cares" gray. It's the kind of color that looks way slower than it drives, haha.

No doubt! Shock is in it's own category when it comes to standing out.

I'm actually looking at a 2023 Rapid Blue 2SS 1LE near me, this does not make me feel good haha. I really want Riverside Blue Metallic but I can't find any near me. I didn't like Rapid Blue in photo's but it's much better in person I feel. I have a lead foot, I'm sure we all do, I guess I have to invest in a nice Radar Detector to hopefully not get as many tickets as you do.

I've had my Rapid Blue 1LE for 5 days and I've been asked about the color 3 times already. Haven't been pulled over yet.
