Probably nothing for the Camaro, unless there is a large stock of '15's they want to get rid of. The 16's will most likely not having rebates/offers up front, at least for a while.

makes no sense for GM to stop rebates at all... history has shown that even when model year changes are done rebates go up... the put an end date to every make and model and always follow with subject to change. my guess is that some time near Oct... they will offer about 3000 in rebates... they've done it before.

I hope someone high in GM watches these forums. I will not buy a car if there are no rebates offered and to tell you the truth I need a new car soon, so I may have to look elsewhere. I never bought anything other than GM in my life other than new Jeeps for my wife.

Look elsewhere. Otherwise an empty threat. Post results so I can laugh out loud.

No reason why GM wouldn't put rebates on the Camaro... cmon yall... it's just a Camaro... we aren't talking about a Vet or HellCat or GT500 or Viper... it's a Camaro... My guess is that GM will have a $500 customer cash to start... once the remaining 15 inventory is pretty much gone they'll bump it up to $1000-1500 as they normally do... take that with supplier and you're at a solid 3k off sticker

They will blow out the remaining 2015's with factory rebates and price cuts. They will do their best to avoid a 2015 sitting next to a 2016.

But the 2016's will not offer incentives for at leat the first year. As dealers will be fighting for inventory and the cars will fly off the lot.

Yes but look what happened to the 2015 ford 150, it is brand new and they have 10k in incentive in some parts of the country. Anything can happen in the first year of the new camaro but nothing is guaranteed yet.

Your talking about a truck vs. a muscle car. Sounds like Ford is trying to gain some ground in markets.

Just like in 2009 we will see a slew of V6 Camaro builds hit lots and sit for a week and the V8 variants will be a unicorn on lots. Until supply meets demand, these cars are going to fly off the lot.

I am ordering my V8, so I know the car I want is what I will get. If anything, expect dealers to tack on an early adoption fee to these cars.

The nice things is... we're not seeing 20-100 people on a waiting list already. So hopefully dealers don't try to F us with a 'I want it now' tax.

My salesman knows me to well to even think about saying that to me. I want what I want, and 5th gen ain't it.

I agree...its not a specialty car.

But at the same time I'd be shocked to see any rebates on this car early on. Why would GM even need to? Its like the Colorado/Canyon....I haven't seen anything on those trucks. No need...they can't meet demand yet.

But I do have a question. Can things like consumer cash/private offer be stacked with invoice pricing?
