Not sure how you think it will be that much. Maybe after taxes.....maybe. It's not going to increase 5k. If they do, they have priced themselves into gt350 territory. They don't want to do that haha.

I suspect first year virtually no change in price, but it will go up in 2017. That's my prediction.

It will be interesting to see a SS with dual mode exhaust and magnetic ride control.....those are two options I'm going to want......I'm thinking $46K - $47K.....hope it's not much more than that.

But of course the last thing any of us want is that 5.2 flat plane crank to rattle our fillings out

Yeah, if you want to compare a fully loaded Camaro SS to a GT350, there will be a 5k difference MSRP wise. Just like you can pretty much option out a Mustang GT to mid 40s.

Chevy SS is under 47k.. Not bad for such a low volume car and what you get.

The gt350 is a great concept but it always make me laugh to read fords press release about how it rattled bolts out of the car early on....Nice...im sure they ironed out most of the issues but the SS with MRC should give the base gt350 a run for its money

If the price increase across all models is under $2500 a MRC 1SS will be the performance bargain of the year no doubt
