When will pricing for the camaro be announced?

I would assume around July, but has it been officially announced?

Official 2016 camaro playbook says Q3 2015, so as early as July

That July 23 date was based on Donlen's which has now put TBD in its place.

Pricing is often released close to start of regular production. That means early retail sold orders go in "blind." The Gen5 released pricing just about the time orders could be entered and represents an exception that proves the rule.

Build Your Own on the chevy site usually goes up some time after orders can be entered and per my memory even after the start of production.

The employee and supplier build sites go up after the start of production. For a new generation those pricing plans do not become available until a few months of start, again the Gen5 being the exception as, per my memory, we knew Pricing Plans would be in place very close to when pricing was announced.

For an example, the newest generation of the Corvette began production near the end of August but Pricing Plans not until the end of February and no dealer publicly accepted them until March, about six months after the start.

I read the title wrong here and got extremely excited. I read "pricing for the new Camaro announced!" I wish, I hate waiting for something that I really like.

I will be very disappointed if it takes that long for supplier pricing to kick in on the new Camaro. I'm hoping 1 or 2 months at most...but really praying for it to kick in from the beginning.

Will we have an idea when supplier pricing will be available when pricing is announced?

I want to privately sell my current car ASAP to get the most out of it, but in Missouri you have 180 days between the time you sell your car and buy a new one to save on taxes (only pay the difference). If I have no idea when supplier will be available, then I don't know when the right time to sell my car will be. Dang!

Just build one online now, add yourself a buffer of 1500-3000 dollars on top of that and you should be golden.

That's exactly what ive been doing and that's the prices I'm expecting but an extra 1500 to 2 grand or so off that for supplier pricing would be very nice....But if we won't know when it kicks in until it's available that's really going to make things difficult
