Start switch only works intermittently

Sometimes the start button is completely dead. You can't even turn the lights on manually. Other times it works perfect.

Also, has anyone had problems with the drivers window dropping about 3" after the car has been sitting only about 1 hour?

And, I have had the daytime running lights come on automatically after the car has been shut off.

The problem is the above are intermittent problems, so the dealer performs a test and everything is ok. But it's not. You can't fix something that happens to be working at that time.

Any one experience the above?

As a first step I'd check the battery, if only to eliminate an obvious potential source.

Did the trunk get wet as there is a fuse box in there?

Both my 18 ZL1 and my 21 ZL1 have that start button thing. You hit it once and nothing, then again nothing, then third time it works. And thats intermittent. Not every time, but more often than not. Both did it since new so I assumed it was normal. Just crappy button. To be clear just the start button thing. Not the window or light thing.
