Best LS/LT1 specialists in the area?
This is my first car with an LS (LT1) motor since I sold my G8 in 2012. What are some of the more reputable shops around the NYC/ Long Island area? Picked up my SS last month and plan on doing some ARH long tubes with a 93 octane ECU tune eventually. Hopefully sooner than later. Any suggestions guys?

http://www.jannettyracing.com/ One of the best shops. Not cheap but you get what you pay for and no BS. Give Ted a call.

I'm also looking for closer. I'm also on NYC/LI. I've been looking forever but seems like no one knows about Long Island or NYC shops that do great work. I'll keep you in mind if I ever find one.

Yea Seems like a few of us are in the same boat. I live In the Bronx and corvettes of westchester is 40min..... Jannetty is 1.5 hrs..... And rpm is 2.5 hrs.... If it didn't snow today I was going to take a ride to jannetty and check out their shop. I am kinda surprised that LI doesn't have any Chevy shops. I'm pretty sure that I saw American racing headers was located out of deer park.

Hmm, ok. I got 2 questions..... What are your store hours and what do you carry in stock at a great price. You already know cash is king. Hey, I need to make sure my 5 hr commute is worth my while.

On LI we have the vette doctors in Amityville. They are very expensive but I've heard they do good work. They quoted me $900 for just the install of lowering springs on my 16 SS! In deer park there is JTM motorsports

I decided to take a ride up to Jannetty Racing today, and I gotta tell u guys. It was well worth the hour n half drive..... Owner Ted and one of the workers kris are real stand up guys, and extremely knowledgeable. Showed me around the shop, checked out the dyno, talked about road racing and a few project cars they got going on. As soon as my car is broken in I'm definitely getting a HP tune from this guy.
