Hey Everyone:

This is my first post on Camaro 6, I usually post on Camaro 5 but its been awhile.

Im back in the market for what is now my 3rd Camaro, 1st 2 were 2010 and 2013 LT and 2LT models. My fiance and I are now looking at the V8.

I was pricing on the website and it has come down to the LT1 or 1SS. I spoke with several dealers who dont seem to have any in stock right now (assuming due to the pandemic).

Any advice would be appreciated, however all I can do now is wait for some product to come in before I continue my hunt.

Low stock due to COVID but also because they are producing the 2021's right now. If you really want a 2020 you will have to expand your search and travel for one more than likely.

build and price on chevy then check local dealers for incoming in transit cars. Lot are starting to show in transit now.

Why not just order a 2021? If you're not in a hurry, order the car with the stuff you want, and not have to pay for the stuff you don't want. Pick your color, etc.

Right now im still debating whether to get an LT1, 1SS or 1SS 1LE (Auto), it may boil down to the LT1 as im trying to save money but the 1LE with the auto is hard to pass up, again Im not in a rush and may wait it out.

The dealer I contacted had no idea the LT1 even existed lol

I couldn't find a used Camaro last summer, I actually used the CarGurus app to find mine

Inventory was tight but as mentioned above I used the search tool on the Chevrolet.com site and searched about 150-200 miles out. I needed finding exactly what I wanted about 30 miles from my house (but in another state) and their car did not show up on the major car sites online like Autotrader, Cars.com, Cargurus, etc. You can also see what is in transit which helps. Try to expand your search as far as you feel comfortable, it will open up more optics and help with negotiating.

There’s a dealer in Bel Air, MD that has a couple of LT1’s in stock. One is Shadow Gray A10 with Sunroof, another is Black, Manual w/ Sunroof. I know another dealer on my area that has a Red LT1 w/o Sunroof. Selection is otherwise slim. Other thing is if you have a good local dealer to you, you can have them find you a car that is closest to what you want and they should be able to go get it for you.
