How often do y'all wash your towels?
So I bought a bunch of nice towels for drying and of course a nice mit.
I've been washing my towels everytime after I clean the car. Is this excessive? Should I leave them to hang dry or something to reuse? Does washing them once or twice a week hurt them in any way? (Oh you poor towels, who hurt you) Just curious. Thanks!

I have entire closet full of towels from the rag company and autofiber.
So I have my laundry basket in my garage one for paint only and other for everything else. I only do laundry when I have a big enough of a load to run and its only paint or everything else. I dont mix them. I use P&S rags to riches or 3D Towel Kleen for MF washing. always wash on cold and dry on very low heat. Anything above around 145degrees will start to melt the fibers i a MF towel.

This is 100% correct. I also use P&S Rags to Riches for washing microfiber towels. Don't use regular laundry soap or it will ruin them. Also do not use any kind of fabric softener nor any dryer sheets. These will all leave residue on your towels.

For my PFM drying towel, since I ONLY use it to dry water off a very clean car, I wash it in white vinegar about every 3 - 4 uses.
For my other microfibers, the ones I use to apply and remove polishes, spray sealants, etc. I have a 5 gallon bucket with about 3 gallons of water and a quart of white vinegar that I toss the towels in right after using them. I will let them soak in that until I get enough for a load of laundry.
