I don't have an exact game plan yet, but we're going to make the upper and lower grills in carbon with the center section in carbon, but also make a 2-4 piece version with some paintable edge pieces to reshape the front end.

I have a few generic renditions before we start CAD modeling, so let me know your thoughts and potential buyers have a chance to reshape their front end here!

Looks like an Audi ...

I like the GM grille better.

The article says they are fast tracking this updated sema version concept into actual production. A Re-refresh for 2019 based on the feedback. They are smart for doing it. It looks awesome.

5th Gen rearlights have pretty much the same shape, especially the euro models

The 5th Gens were 'squrcircles', squared off on top, cantered in and best of all recessed. Zero sun fade. I give the 2019's 4 to five years to discolor.

The cut out bumper below the goggles on the 2019, are the only similarity.

That's a NOPE.

Just paint the black center section of the stock bumper body color and move the bowtie up to the top grille.

off topic but your coming out with V3 Carbon? what parts? looking at a non Carbon V and most likely passing on it because the OEM pieces are crazy $.

It's crazy how much I actually like the '19 front on a 1LE. It's really grown on me and seeing it in person sealed the deal. I panicked yesterday and thought I might wait to order, but the SEMA "improved" version just looks wrong now.

To be honest, I hate it, that rendering makes the GM design look amazing. My opinion would be to scrap this design and never look back at it again.

The grey 1LE (and well, I'll say a few other 1LE colors) are the only version of the 19 SS I've seen and thought to myself "well...that's kind of bad azz"...but not any of the others I've seen. But then again, those 1LE wheels and accents look awesome regardless. Move the bowtie up on that standard 19 1LE and it would still look better (my opinion). No matter...I think the change to the 19 is a good move.

So, is there a way to find out when this will be done. I am suppose to order a 2019 SS (in canada) in the next 2 month and I would like to know which fascia I will get.....

I'm currently debating between blue and satin steel. I was all in on satin steel until I saw a blue one this weekend. Decisions, decisions.
