And just my 2 cents worth- I've got GM's cai and can't help but break into an ear-to-ear grin whenever the car rev matches and I can hear that intake suck in a big lung full of air followed immediately by the exhaust. It may not make anymore power, but she sure sounds serious! Definitely worth the price of admission IMHO. I highly recommend the CAI as well if just for the aural entertainment.

Any update on your manifold? Just curious if you did get it what your impressions were

If the MSD already has a 103mm opening why not use a 103mm throttle body?

Because it won't make more power than the 95mm and it's more $$$

MSD manifold is still a no-show...

I'm trying to be patient but this is getting difficult. Will keep you posted.

It’s hard to imagine a naturally aspirated car needing more than the 95... at that point you wouldn’t be running the MSD intake anyway.

all true, I will say that MANY people told me that going from stock to 103 MM would show NO gains... as you can see there is a BIG gain, I went from stock to 103mm and MSD

It is on the way.

Again, I am sorry for the wait.

Anyone else that's not wanting to wait in line for Holley. I can get about seven more of them as of right now.

Nice job Matt! I really appreciate it. Any way you could PM me a tracking#?

I'm hoping to intercept the IM at the front door before the wife sees it... then she can't point to it when I'm ready to spend more on the car- LOL!

Thanks again for the extra effort-

Can you put the stock LT1 cover over the top of the MSD intake manifold?
I would like it to look factory to hide the MSD

The wings don't even fit without some tweeking, the top cover would need some work. It would take me 2 hrs to fab up the mountings. I have to admit the MSD is not as nice as say the LS2 MSD or of course the Goetz, which is a work of art pretending to be a manifold....

Whoo-Hoo! I gotta big box from a Perf. shop yesterday...

I haven't had a chance to go thru it yet, but it weighs enuff to have all the bits and pieces in there. I'll go through it more thoroughly when I get home from work today- and because of work (that 4 letter word) I'll have to wait until next week to install.

Will let you know how it goes-

Thanks again for the extra effort Matt!

This is just me so take it for what is worth. don't even think about MSD's silly inch pound deal, use common sense and a practices hand to torque the bolts the hold the halfs together. I know two people that have stipped the brass theads on the center bolts. it does not have to be as tight as MSD says and most people's inch pound wrenches are garbage. I've done maybe 10 since then with a practiced hand with NO ISSUES.
