E-Force Dyno Results
Had my 2016 SS Auto Dynoed at Futral Motorsports today. Kind of disappointed with the results. 505 H/P, 513 T/Q. This is E-force and everything else stock. I guess I'm happy with the power, for my daily driver. I need wider tires give me some better traction. Other than that I will leave it as is.

I agree, wonder how to calculate crank H/P with this A8 transmission. What I like is it is a safe tune, as requested.

No, I never had it done until I installed the S/C. But you can see the difference between Edelbrocks tune and Futral's tune.

Did you have all of the nannies turned off? It makes a difference.

Hmm. That's probably about 35 hp low.
What were your iats? I'm probably right around same power as you on 91. Edelbrock says that 91 to 93 is worth 35+ hp.

I just put my car in track mode on the dyno. Didn't turn anything off.

He did say IAT's were high, did not dwell on the actual temperatures. But I did have to drive the car over 150 miles to get to the shop. So engine was hot from the start.

If the car is hot, can it still be tuned properly ? The initial 48x number is what?

You may be seeing some wheel spin in the upper RPM range given how the graph is dancing around.
Here's my dyno run with the all the nannies off/on. Be sure he does the full 10 sec hold on the mode switch to shut them completely off. Took us a while to figure this out. Last edited by Atomic Ed; 03-17-2017 at 11:29 PM. |
