Heel toe downshifts

Does anyone else find it kinda awkward to heel toe in the m6? I feel like I don’t have enough room for my feet and the gas pedal is a lot deeper than the brake pedal. I also hit the sidewall next to the gas pedal with my heel when I try tapping the throttle. Anyone else have this problem or do I just suck a$$

Is auto rev match not standard ? It works extremely well for track days

I am unable to heel toe. Auto rev match is cool, but there's just something about learning a new skill like heel toe.

I do not like heel-toe in this car, worse in my stang. I love the auto rev match and the no lift shift!

I've always found it easier to use the sides of my feet instead of heel and toes. I keep my foot on the edge of the brake and roll my foot so the right side taps the gas.

That being said, I would only use auto rev match on a track. The precision with which it matches revs is obviously far superior than just blipping the throttle with half of your foot. If the car is right on the edge of traction, that could be there difference between keeping traction and spinning out.

I use the rev match on my car; it does a pretty good job.

My 370Z had it; I think it's called syncro-rev on that vehicle.

1.Crank car
2. Turn on rev match
3. Set mode to Track
4. Turn off nannies

Every time. I wish I could lock those settings in.

I have no problem with heel-toe downshifts in this car. The skill is enjoyable.

I've never used rev match.

Using the sides of the foot is the only way I've seen it done.

I agree with the OP that it's a little hard to heel-and-toe this car. For me, the main issue is that the gas pedal is too far down below the brake pedal. I little pad on the gas pedal could probably solve that, but like others, I find the rev match feature to work so well that I won't mess with it.
