No. That's a lot of coolant to have to add under normal circumstances. Tracking it shouldn't make a difference.

I haven't added a drop of coolant in thousands of track miles in the Airzona heat.
I'd be pretty pissed off if I had to. |

Not right at all. That’s over half gallon for a track day.. it’s leaking out somewhere. Internally or externally. What are the engine coolant temps and oil temps during the track sessions? What’s the oil look like? What’s the oil smell like? Burnt coolant? How much oil are you burning during these track events? Any smoke coming from the tailpipe? Even small amounts of coolant entering the combustion chamber will produce white exhaust smoke. I wouldn’t be driving the car until I got a better idea where this coolant is going. It won’t end well.

NO white smoke. Oil smells and looks like used oil. No crazy foaming / mix action. I have not had a measurable amount of Oil burn off from track days. Quote:

Well crap... that's not going to make me feel much better. Any reason not to have the dealer diagnose this if i have headers??

Unless you're already OK with your powertrain warranty being toast and just need a competent shop to diagnose it, at least, a dealer sounds fine but I'd be more included to trust an independent shop.
Thats A LOT of fluid to not see white smoke, smell it, or have puddles under the car. Very strange. |

Mine uses some coolant, not the amount as yours though. But I've had to top it off a few times. It's not leaking, it's not burning it, it's not in the oil, it's a complete mystery to me. It never gets hot, even on a hundred degree day at the track.

The lower reservoir vents to the atmosphere, so I think it just evaporates.

I had to fill the lower reservoir. It was on the low side. I really can't say how full the lower reservoir was when I bought the car. Tracked all last year and never noticed. Checked this year pre-season and topped up the lower.

Are you buying premixed? I saw a few videos from YouTube guys and they think it's ok to used bottled water instead of distilled. Distilled has a higher bubbling temperature than regular water. I don't know what my previous own used, but he was a car guy. I flushed and used distilled and have had no problems.

Lower reservoir, I noticed mine looks empty. Upper reservoir is filled to the cold fill line, but I can't see any fluid in the reservoir directly underneath. I am not familiar with the 2 reservoir concept at all.
What's the purpose of the lower reservoir? Is it an expansion tank for when the motor gets nice and hot on the track? Should I put some coolant in? I have a track day coming up on July 12th, and been driving hard just to get a better feel for the car. Coolant temps haven't gone over 200 yet. |

Hmmm, if I remember correctly the top reservoir should show full hot or cold. The bottom should show half empty or so. That's how it was from factory, not sure how the two reservoir concept works
