PTB Warranty
I bought a Katech 87 mm PTB and haven’t installed yet. In an article, Al O. was quoted saying Chevy knows when we’re running a CAI.
I assume he means their diagnostic data feed transfers by onstar antenna send MAF frequency data that reveals when we’re running a modified intake and could void warranty. Assuming this is true, do you think they could detect changes from an 87 mm PTB? PTB is is located after the MAF so maybe this helps prevent detection. |

If you are that afraid of voiding your warranty don't modify it at all.
