Exclamation Z-28 or ZL1-1LE Questions ....

I am curious about upgrading to the ZL1-1LE.

Weekend car shows ... Driving enjoyment ... Collectibility, if any, & comfort.

Similarities are strong between both in terms of being Top Dog Camaros today.

I enjoy my 2015 Camaro Z-28 but it's a handful to drive.

Some of my friends advise the Dodge Challenger Hellcat Redeye.

Ironically the base model ZL1 simply does not excite me too much.

You say the Z28 is a handful to drive, in what way? The 1LE has a very firm suspension. I don’t see much collectibility in these cars, ANY model. They are better when driven and enjoyed.

No collectability unless your great, great grand children would be selling it!

Other that the 19s stiffer race inspired suspension and aero it’s the same car.

I go way back in the Camaro Game to 1984 so I know them well.

My last Camaro was my beloved 2002 SS SLP Camaro -- shedding a tear.

5th Gen Camaros did not blow up my skirt but the Z/28 did.

2 year ownership so far.

She rides rough as I am always on the clutch but it's a helluva vehicle for sure and fun to drive but after 30 minutes I feel tired of driving, my left leg hurts a little. The base model ZL1 is not really blowing up my interest -- something maybe about the mickey mouse looking spoiler. I know I can add the ZL1-1LE Aero Stuff if I want to ....

Considered leaving the muscle Car hobby even ... I don't know.

Jeep Trackhawk scratches my itch a little ... The Redeye looks like the real deal without the tiresome clutch ....

Undecided ... Comments welcomed

Corvettes are too low to the ground but I love the Removable Targa Top option.

Would love to see the automatic option in the ZL1-1LE platform.

Yes, the '19 ZL1 1LE is now offered in a A10 option. Think of it as a refined Z28, with more to offer. Every time I drive mine, it's hard to believe that a car with this much power is so easy to drive, and I have the M6.

Overall, I think you are missing the car you should get. Comfort & enjoyment lies with the regular ZL1 & clearly is a faster car than the Z28 you have now...just look at the 'Ring time. The application you are requesting feedback for is the regular ZL1 yet it bores you?? 'Track Time' isn't mentioned, so there it is.

If you want to mod and go fast in a straight line then yeah, I guess you can consider the red eye, but from a Z28 & asking about a ZL1 1LE??

What do you want to really do with the car?? If you are not going to track, get the regular Z.

I like the regular ZL1 but the Japanese looking little spoiler is a deal breaker.

Where can I buy this Automatic/A10 ZL1-1LE ?

This could be my Z/28 but in the easier on the body Automatic version I am looking for.

Don't read me indifferent-I love my Z/28 but the ride is all too consuming/harsh after 30 minutes.

Also, the lack of a carpeted (drone) trunk hurts my ears after about 30 minutes.

Take ZL1 1LE for a ride, I don't think you'll find it to be anymore comforting than your Z/28. The only thing to gain for you would be the now optional A10 to give your leg a rest. Curious why you think the ZL1 spoiler reminds you of something Japanese? Have a particular Japanese car that it reminds you of?
