Sport Setting more Responsiver than Track

Anyone else notice that the Sport setting in the SS manuals seems to be faster and more responsive than the Track setting? Is it normal or just my car?

Normal. Track is more linear and closer to a 1:1 throttle ratio.

^This. But if you want the throttle pedal even more responsive, get the Soler Performance Throttle Controller. I installed mine a week ago and all I have to say is that this will put a smile on your face. The throttle map should be like that from factory!

Yeh...I'm already running a a Soler TB and Soler TC along with a drop in K&N green filter. I'm happy with the performance. But still don't get the reason for track mode feeling like lower in performance. Is it more responsive in the Triple digits or something?

Meant to give you more control on track. You don't want the first 25 percent of your pedal giving you 75 prevent of your throttle on track and whip the rear loose in a corner on track.

I like the throttle response in tour. I think it’s slightly more responsive than even sport. I have The drive modes set to sport for steering, suspension and exhaust and drive around in tour all the time.

What Jaxcam02 said. And yes, track gives you better response in higher rpms.

Tour and Sport mode have the same throttle mapping

I’m pretty sure that is incorrect. Sport mode has a much more linear throttle actuation than tour mode.

Nope.
Here's one of many, see post #21. Or search on google, or here, and check out several other threads on this subject on Camaro6. Both Tour and Sport throttle progression have the same normal mapping/response throttle progression. That's from GM.

Will the throttle controller void a factory warranty?

is this post referencing the accelerator only? track vs others: the steering is far more different than the pedal. all of the modes on my car now use a track accelerator ratio. i don’t care for the pedal commander effect.

track mode feels “less responsive” for obvious reasons. you want to sharpen the car on track, not make it dull by commanding 20% tps and getting 35.

Not true if you are a thrill seeker.
