A10 Sluggish when cold?
I have a '22 SS with the A10 trans. I only have 371 miles on the car so not yet broken in. When starting out from a stop under light throttle the trans seems sluggish and seems to shit into 2nd after a few feet. It seems to go away after the trans has warmed up. Is this normal? Need more break-in?

I can’t speak for the A10 but I know my A8 will not lock the converter until trans temp hits 68°. I’ve watched it many times in logs and on the Banks gauge.

A10 is definitely grumpy until up to temp

make sure it is in "sport" if an SS has such a setting. Yes, the A10 is a little sluggish until the fluid warms a bit. It always upshifts to 2nd rather quickly and never holds 1st in automatic mode.
