TPS

Please question:

SS Automatic 2018

1- In WOT why TPS give max round 84% why it’s not 100% in WOT (HP tuners)

2- Is this the same in manual SS +16 or it gives a bigger number for TPS.

Here f.d this might help you and I do believe this is the same for the manual cars.

Because as much as you think you are in control of the throttle blade with your foot on the accelerator - you are not. The ECU commands the throttle blade based on multiple factors. Your foot is just one of those. These cars have a lot of torque management in place.

It's weird indeed, but doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things. As SSDan pointed out, the ECU knows you're flooring it and will command an appropriate blade angle taking whatever pedal percentage you see at that point as WOT.

Thanks for you all.
The weird thing is: I see with manual transmission TPS 96%

Any way the car pull awesome, and I just want to know more.

Thanks

My 2017 at WOT shows 99.6% for Throttle Position (not the SAE one). I also log Commanded Throttle Actuator (SAE) and that one reads 100% for me at WOT. For what my foot is doing, I log Accelerator Pedal Position (not an SAE one) and that reads 99.6% at WOT.

Nope, my 2017 SS has the A8. Plus I've logged a 2016 SS A8, and these 3 channels gave the same readings at WOT as mine does.
