Racechip - Yay or Nay?
Hello all!
This question is only for those individuals who have used RaceChip (any version) on their 2.0. I was wondering if it's worth getting a racechip? my car's still on lease so I can't really get it tuned until next year (plus, I live in Canada and I wouldn't wanna go to local tuners over renowned names like Trifecta/ZZP) Would love your input, thanks! |

I have one (an RS), I got it from Wook, I usually leave it off as I'm happy with my mods, but it's fun to play with once in a while, it's not Bluetooth so when you want to use it, you pop the hood and select a setting. Simple to install, and it does pack a punch, only negatives is that the car can feel somewhat unstable when you turn it up real high. Idle, etc.
Happy to answer specific questions

Thank you! Any chance you did a 0-60 run with and without RS on the same day? Trying to understand whether it's worth the penny for power. |

No I haven't, but it is noticeable. If you want to try it the cheaper route, I'd sell mine for 300 shipped, EMT. I'm in Southern Ontario.
