Switched 12V power source

Hey guys, I originally posted this issue in the DIY section but, thus far have not received any replies. I thought I’d try here as you guys are have undoubtedly run up against this issue when adding any electronics.
Here’s the deal: I installed a AEM wideband O2 gauge yesterday and despite searching for over an hour, I was unable to locate a switched 12v power source inside the car. All 12v wires I located were not switched. The voltage on every switched wire that I could find had been stepped down to 5 - 6 volts. I connected to a 12v unswitched wire and temporarily installed a jury-rigged switch under the dash so I could kill power to the gauge. Can anyone help me to locate a switched 12v wire?

Yes Remove your center console its not that difficult under there you can tap into the harness I just tested for 12v on off there is also a grounding bolt right under there too makes the ground real easy I then taped and ran my wires out the back up into the dash and put wire connectors on the end so I can unplug and plug if i want to change it out. I believe I took some photo's of what I did Ill check my photo's and post. I am sure there are other sources as well but this is what I did and its clean cant see the wires and leaves options for further wiring as well.

When I need a power wire for a accessory I use one of these.

Add-a-fuse. I tapped circuit 42 and 44 and ran wires behind the wheel liner and went thru under the cab to get inside.
