Anybody got a starter diy?

Out of warranty and I'm sure I need a starter.

I just did mine. I've heard a few different ways to do it.

After messing around with it for a while I decided to take off the exhaust piece under it. Had to heat the nuts up a little on the exhaust. After that it was basically just shimmying the heat shield out and then the starter. It's tight in there.

removing the cat is the best way to go and makes it much easier to access. If you have LT's, removing the headers also make it a lot easier.
