Cool. I'm need to address my traction woes as well. I have been debating between 18's or 17's.

Any updates on the new found power or reliability of the G3X blower? I have a whipple on order, but it has been 2 months and I still have no whipple. May get my money back and get this setup.

Zero issues with the blower. I just finished a new fuel system, dropped a pulley size and realized I need a second surge valve. Having that welded on to the intercooler today. Have to relocated my FF sensor and FP sensor before I can start tuning. Hoping for a healthy 875-900whp. I really shouldnt push the SBE that hard, but **** it. Ill post here when I’m done.

What cam is in the cam now? Still the small 110 lsa? I have my car setup for PD, but it should work fine with this blower. All I would need to do is add fuel rails for my fore system, or adapt to the -8 lines.

Yea, same cam. 226/236 525/525 110. Might not be the best choice, but it’s working so far and I dont feel like changing it. Someday I’ll redo the bottom and get a better cam.

Got the second surge valve welded up. Forgot what a beast this intercooler is. Its massive. F’ing sideways pics...

I like the cam choice. Reminds me of the Isky triple 12 I’m my truck days. Good work on the inner cooler. It’s too late to cancel my order on the whipple or I would be ordering this kit with the g3x. Wish I would have found this sooner. Not sure a whipple will allow me to grow like this would.

I cant take credit for the weld, belong to AMS Fab in Fort Lauderdal.
I took your advice Ted. Ordered the plumbing to redo the fuel system, with Y’s for the rails and placing the fpr after the rails.

Round 3?

UPDATE: 2/10/2020

Dropped a pulley size 100mm to 95mm
Installed DSX Triple 450s, new fuel system. E85
Ted Jannetty tuned.

I was expecting to see 20.5psi at 7300 rpms, however due to some complications, the car would not rev past 6400rpm (or 156mph). This could be a mechanical issue, or tune related. We will soon find out.

Either way, at 6400rpm it made 18.1psi and 913whp/787tq on the first pull.
Second pull made the same exact power, but again, couldnt pass 156mph.

Ted did a remarkable job re-tuning the car and showing me my mechanical shortcomings. For example the car desperately needed a second surge valve. It behaves much better with the ability to discharge all that excess air instead of forcing it into the engine while you're trying to idle, or slow down.
Also with my feedback, we were able to adjust the Base Running Airflow, or airflow min table (and others) to make my car drive so much better. The 110 cam, heavy duty clutch and big blower dont make it easy to crawl around parking lots. Huge improvements there.

I'm a little disappointed that we didn't get to see the full potential of the G3X (again), but at the same time maybe its for the best. After all, it is a SBE with a small cam and beehive spring. The dyno operator said, if we could rev to 7300 and hit 20 psi, 940whp would be very obtainable. I'll have to keep that in mind after the limiter is removed...

I'll save the 90mm pulley for the forged short block...

Impressive numbers. I sure hope you have already budgeted for the engine rebuild!
Be curious to see what is going on that's limiting your rpm.
