CAI from the factory

Was having some work done on my company car at the dodge dealership...saw the chargers have CAI from the factory. Pretty cool.

There seems to be a misconception that the stock intake doesn’t provide any cold air. My P3 gauge shows the stock intake keeps IAT temps within 1-3 degrees of ambient when moving. I think you’ll be hard pressed to show significantly lower temps with any 3rd party “cold air” intake.

+1

The ZL1 intake is itself a Cold Air Intake. It draws air through a snorkel behind the front facia. If you want increased air flow just get a K&N filter then clean and recharge it as needed.

CAI is a well known brand. I had one in my 2014 Camaro SS 1LE and it was top notch. Many cars, like my 5th Gen SS, require a washer bottle relocation kit and scoop to maximize air flow - bottle ends up inside the box with filter. That one you linked does look bad-ass. I doubt you'll get any performance boost from it but it looks great.

Is this the right K&N for a drop in stock replacement?

My best friend just purchased an ‘18 Dodge Charger Scat Pack...no CAI from the factory. Mopar makes a CAI just as GM uses the Cold Air Inductions brand for their aftermarket GM CAI.

It's not factory, but it is made by Mopar. I purchased one for my 16 Challenger Skat Pack.
