Yeah, in that sense it's a stock part.

At least GM is including a tune with the intake. Back in my RX-8 day, the Mazdaspeed intake for the car is just the AEM one, with a different sticker slapped on it. Business!

Installed the ZL1 rock guards on the front wheels just now... I have the rears, but will do that at a later date since I have to remove the wheel and all that fun stuff. Fronts were more important to get done to try and curb the rock slingin' when the weather warms up and it comes out of it's temporary slumber.

Glad they switched to black VHB (from the grey I had seen others using). So it doesn't look off against the black car.

2016 Camaro SS with tvs2650

Hey this is my first post on this forum. I have a 2016 SS with an Edelbrock 2650, a big gulp cold air intake, stainless headers. I have wondered what to do next. I think I am somewhere in the 590 hp area. I had it Dyno’d on a mustang Dyno and it came in at 539. Should I put the zl1 fuel pump? Ported throttle body? I don’t want nitrous. I don’t really want a meth kit. But may consider that. I would like to get up to 650 - 700 and some more off the line power. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. So that’s what I did today. Wonder what I can do tomorrow.

Welcome aboard. Your setup is capable of a lot more power but you need fuel. LT4 in tank, HPFP, and injectors is the minimum to play with forced induction on this platform IMO. If you plan to really rock and roll in terms of power (say over 700 WHP), then LPE injectors & BB HPFP, XDI setup, or port injection is the way to go and just skip the LT4 stuff all together.

Thanks for the great info. I like that idea about lt4 pump and injectors. That and a ported throttle body? It’s fast - but I need a little more. Thanks again!

Ported TB is a waste of money on a 2650. Go with at least a 95mm or better yet 103mm TB.

Got the car out on our vette club cruise and let it rip for the first time since i got in Oct. Got over 120mph a few times. It also gets heat soak like my Vettes did. Ran fine as wine.
