I know it's been over a year and a half since this thread was started, but my conscience has been bothering me a lot, so...I test drove that car when it only had 3 miles on it. I put 10 miles on it and ran it up to...65.
I am so, so sorry... |

Haha...ha?
Couldn't resist. Someone whining about a car purchase because it had 11 more miles then he wanted...omg. For reals??? We've gotten too soft, too Whiney and we obviously have too much when this becomes the source for a thread on a performance car site. Sheesh. At least it worked out. Someone else got the car. |

If I could save ten bucks on a 14 mile car vs the same car with 3, I'd go for the 14 miler

Well after 4 1/2 years and 29k miles of practically trouble free use (battery replaced under warranty - I feel like such a fool as I took delivery of my new car with 190 miles on it (160 miles were dealer transfer miles so I could get the exact model and options I wanted). OMG - after scanning this thread - I guess I paid new car prices for a vehicle that should have been totaled.
By the way at this point I have driven 99.4% of the miles on the car and some unknown scalawags have driven .6% of the miles. I sleep fine at night.

Mine had about 30 miles on the clock, which raised my eyebrows a bit. Dealer claimed it wasn’t test driven. It it was on the showroom floor and what I wanted. No issue, as the car dynoed very strong and uses not a drop of oil.

Hilarious responses, but exactly along the lines I thought when I read it, even though it was 18 months after the fact.
I noticed the OP list himself as a future owner of a ZL1. I think he's still in that category. $10 off for 14 miles vs 3? Ha! $14k off for the 14 miles? Double Ha! Can't stop chuckling to these responses. Are some of these folks for real? Sounds like they need to find a nice used 06 caprice... |
