Do they still make Camaro Z28?

Hello everyone,
The Camaro is a line of muscle cars produced by Chevrolet. Chevrolet produces many lines, which are characterized by extremely muscular designs, along with an extremely powerful engine. I really like the Camaro Z28 from the brand. But it is a pretty old car, do not know if the company still produces the Z28 anymore?
Thanks everyone.

That's a big negative friend. The Z/28 was last built for the 2015 model year. Under 2000 cars were built in the 2014 and 2015 years for the Gen 5 Z/28. One has not appeared in the Gen 6 platform and at this point, seems extremely unlikely with the capability of the ZL1 1LE.

This. My buddy had one, sold it. It was awesome. The LS7 is a monster.

Keep in mind the 6th Gen 1LE is as fast around a track as a Z28.

Of course the Z28 has a bit more character being that it is so rare. But if you're after a NA track monster a 6th gen 1LE is just as good.

Hoping they'll put this incoming C8Z NA FPC motor in a 6th gen for the final year or two. I could see them do a 3650lb stripped down 6th gen Z28 with ~675hp NA, cf wheels, Cc brakes, and cup 2r tires for the final version of the ICE camaro. (Fine, I'm dreaming)

Hate that they did away with it. Z28 wasn't meant to be a rare model. Would have absolutely loved a Z28 again.

I'm dreaming as well. Hoping they offer that combo without the cf wheels and cc brakes so I can afford it. Offer a base Z/28 and allow us to add options if we want them.

That'd be wise on their part. Like Ford offering CFTP for $18K. Someone would pay it, but not most.

Would you trade in your ZLE for this? Or do you think you'd miss the power?

I would trade it in, but I'm predicting about 675hp NA and 200lbs lighter plus all the reduction in unsprung mass. I'd actually take the cf wheels and cc brakes and use them for time trials and personal best attempts. I'd use forged wheels and iron rotors most of the time though.

Very unlikely it will happen, but let's keep wishin'.

You are absolutely correct that the Z28 has more character. I owned one for two years, now have a 2018 ZLE. No doubt ZLE is faster and is a better car in every measurable way, but there is nothing, and I mean nothing I have driven (ZR1, GT4, 720S) that is as raw and special as that Z28. I regret selling it.
