Should hopefully have the car back late this afternoon possibly, or tomorrow some time. Talked to the dealership yesterday.

A10 with a 12/17 build date. 9400 miles thus far with no issues. "knock on wood"

I hope you get her back & she runs like a champ! Then you have to throw that Borla Atak Exhaust on her!

I’m sure she’ll be fine. But let us know how things go!

Thanks. That sucks if it fails of course.. any symptoms that one can look for? Will any work related to this be covered under the powertrain warranty?

all covered if your powertrain is stock, untuned, and a proper oil filter (preferably a PF64) is in place. Watch for low idling oil pressure...my '17 failed and I could see it coming...no damage and 100% covered under warranty

Is Mobil 1 filter a proper filter? What's the proper idling oil pressure at start up and once warmed up? What about proper pressure under load at cruising speeds?

I'm ready for it! I miss being loud, car is far too quiet for me right now.

Will definitely be reporting back, going to call the dealership today when they open and see when it will be ready!

talked to the dealership a few minutes ago, they got everything put back together and still don't have oil pressure. GM has told them to try and pump it manually via a special tool? that they don't have.

eek, that isn't good. I dont remember, did they replace it all or just the pump.

hard to believe a new oil pump isnt creating pressure. maybe the sending unit isn't connected? hopefully? if not, they are "recycling your motor...

You would think they have also tested with a mechanical gauge also. At least I would hope. New oil pump and no pressure? Seems odd.

Sorry to hear man!
If they don't have the tool, then they surely didn't prime the pump correctly!
