Best way to blackout bowtie

Has anyone had luck with the vinyl wraps I have seen or is it worth it to just buy new emblems?

I plasti-dipped mine black (only the gold part) and am very pleased with the ease of application, cost, and result.

I went the pre-cut Vinyl route. Had it on for a year with no problems.

A piece of vinyl from Michael's or Hobby Lobby, a sharp x-acto, a little patience, and you can DIY in about 20 minutes.
