Wideband model difference
What are the differences between the aem wideband 30-3000 and 30-0334. I've been trying find the difference but have had no luck. Just trying to figure out which one to buy. Also, do you have to have a mount for this or can I just throw it in my lap or cup holder? I only want it for a tune then it's coming out.

Wideband model difference
I think you mean the 30-0300 (typo). Either will work. The 0334 interfaces through the OBD port on your car to bring in the sensor signal. The 0300 model requires you to wire in your signal input through the 0-5V analog input provided.
Both use the same Bosch 4.9LSU sensor and AEM wideband controller technology.

You can rest it in your cup holder or seat. The back will be exposed and shouldn’t cause any issues for temporary use.

That's how I got mine setup while tuning. I wired the positive and negative wire to a 12v adapter and plug it into the power port. The O2 sensor wire I got running through the sound tube hole.

That's a great idea, and only $7 on Amazon. Thanks for the pro tip, lol!

Chaos, that’s the same thing I bought too. That way you can just use it when you need and possibly help a buddy one day and save him a few bucks! With the ease of the pass-through of the 30-0334 getting data into HPT is simple.
