I took a dremel and put a slight notch in my fan shroud. It took care of my maf connector hitting it.

The fan blade is 1/8 below the shroud (so I won't trim the shroud). I may trim the entry tube to the TB only along the bottom say 1/8 inch this will have a tendency to rotate the MAF portion of the tube away from the shroud.

All in all a MINOR quibble.

I wonder if mine is in a different spot. I’m running the race IC and the piping is all metal, although I think the diameter may be different as well. I did have to remove a small corner of the fan shroud though.

Mine is all silicone tube from intercooler to TB, wish I had your setup, I'm pretty sure mine is "newer", it is a fine setup, but the MAF pickup does need 5 degrees of rotation toward the engine, at least in my case.
