I believe that Centri superchargers have IAT sensors at pre-charger location.

My friend having Magnuson and me having Whipple had rolling race yesterday. Maggi, 15psi , no meth vs Whipple 17psi, no meth. I won, but not far. From 60mi to 175mi. iATs are the same. From 130* to 183* . yesterday it was quite humid and hot. The both cars are around 700 hp.

Is your IAT sensor after the methanol? If it is after is the element shielded from the physical mist of the methanol?

Exactly what I was thinking. How much timing is pulled at that temp? Im at 12 degrees advance at 6k rpm with IAT's in the 120's so that I don't get any KR @ 10lbs of boost.

Just got some fresh new data: 4500 DA, 93 degrees ambient.

Non-iced starting: 101, ending IAT (1/4 mile) 124

Iced Starting: 65, ending IAT (1/4 mile) 93

Magnuson 15.5 psi, Cordes Expansion Tank, larger lines re-routed, upgraded water pump and Stage 2 Magnuson Bricks. Pro Meth injection post TB. Huge shoutout to Toohighonpsi for letting me purchase the new bricks and helping with the line re-routing.

Out at Camaro fest, it sounds like the Laynlo Maggie is sure running fine in high heat and high DA with no heat problems...with all stock internals. . .I know he beat a cammed whipple too. I think the heat info might be dated. Cant wait to see the full rundown from Camarofest.

More than likely, every setup will have a little worse performance in 100 degree temps.

As far as I know there is an ambient air sensor that is located passenger side lower radiator in one of the shields. The actual IAT is in the MAF housing. That means on a centri it is post intercooler pre-throttle body.

My boost level is 16 PSI with Ethanol injection (50/50 water) for cooling and octane, but feels it is too high with the injection.

The IAT sensor is just after the heat exchangers and I am injecting it before the exchanger.

Shit, that's nothing. Mine goes up to 170 at idle. Of course, it's 100 degrees here so. haha. Under WOT, it drops to the high 90's.

IAT break out. Sensor is installed after the meth. No shield.
