FINALLY, installed my GM-CAI tonight. Had a couple of WTF moments, but I usually take the instructions too literally anyway. Test drive went well. Definitely a different sound, not too sure about the butt dunno yet. Didn’t really get her warmed up.
FYI, I will be adding a catch can soon. While I had the throttle body off I took a look inside and saw some light brown liquid. Not a lot, but it was there. Gotta look REALLY hard dead center of the pic. The lighting is horrible.

I've been running the CAI.inc box for over a year, from before dealers in NY could get the GM version or the tune. I've had absolutely no issues. I did want that "Performance" badge, though.
I am considering getting some yellow oil to turn the filter orange, and I have to work up a graphic for it.

I installed the original RX catchcan on the LFX at around 1700 mi. I bought the Tracy Lewis Signature Series catch can for both cars when I found out GM wiffed on it again on the LT1 (@3223 mi), with just a 6" tube going from crank case to intake. At least they got the clean side right.
I am in the process of ordering a new TB, IM, & spacer for the LFX, and am wondering what Ill find on the valves.

Back in 1982 I had a sweet ‘69 Camaro SS vert.... lemans blue with white rally’s... I have a photo of my toddler niece, posing while sitting on the back of the backseat. Yesterday, I took a pic of her daughter posing in my FIFTY the same way....I would post a pic but it had too much back light....
I love both cars.... but as much as I can find myself just staring at the FIFTY, if I was a 20 year old again, I might like the hyper blue 1SS 1LE with black top and white rally’s like my ‘69. Not sure, but I bet the white seats would look good with the top down too. If I was 20 and had a rich daddy, I’d get the same colors in a ZL1 1LE......lol.... I will say if my ‘69 SS had the power of today’s SS, I would have wrecked it for sure....

First time in a long time! Question. I’ve been driving around for about a week and have been having some weird electrical activity. Car has 6000 miles on it, so maybe 4-6 times it’s asked me to roll my windows down and back up when I go to start it. Also I got a message on on the dic that told me to service power steering? Then today I gave it a good pull and my whole gauge cluster went black and all My gauges started acting wildly. It was all black. Total event lasted around 3-5 seconds, and then it went back to normal? Any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you may have a glitch somewhere, I would pull the negative battery cable, wait 2 mins. then reattach. If that doesn't clear it, take it to the dealer.

I had a few of these problems myself. The window issue for me was refusal to auto up. With other small glitches I went to the dealer. They found a loose ground and then reloaded all the computers. Took the whole day but then no issues until driving home from CamaroFest.

On my way home the nav screen went black. Radio worked and I was still receiving verbal directions for about 5 minutes when the DIC and nav screen rebooted. Since then no issues and I have put a lot of miles on it since then including a marathon trip to Canada and back.

Like others have said sounds like a glitch. Do the battery pull for 2 mins and if not resolved seek out the dealer.

If you do the battery pull. Remember to press your brake pedal for about 10 seconds during. That will drain your ECU completely.
