Why are my fog lights yellow? 2011 Camaro

I want to change the color on my fog lights to match my halogen head lights. I dont know if its the bulb or not. I was thinking of ordering blue tint films to put on but i dont want to get them if its the bulb thats the problem

LED would look better. They are yellow as they are just standard bulbs

Didn't know the RS used halogen headlights. OP is conflicting with what he drives and what he is asking for.

If you have actual fog lights and not DRL's, you defeat the purpose of the fog light by putting bright white lights in them. The bright light will just reflect off the fog, and you won't be able to see a thing.

UMMMM.....the RS doesn't have fog lights. The RS has HID lights with halo rings. So they put the daytime running lights in the fog light location, and no fog lights.

And yes, in fog, snow, or rain, bright lights are not better. Yes, there's more light, but that means more light bouncing off the fog, rain, and snow particles. Their mounted down low to illuminate the road itself, not the fog.

i was looking for the ones i bought but ya they were 5000k match great. you need to buy the ones for your car though. they changed the DRL bulbs mid year 2012 so the ones posted above will not work in a 2011

Better to get the bulbs than film. Bulbs are only $30 or so. The swap is an easy DIY and if you search that forum you'll find a clear trail already blazed for you.
