50th Anniversary Wheels

This morning I went to my local dealership because I saw that they had a 50th anniversary sitting on the showroom floor and I had to check it out. When I got there I was vigorously walking around the car going over every inch of it. In doing so, I came to the conclusion that the 50th anniversary is the one for me if I ever got one. Once I was finished I took a step back and realized something that bothered the hell out of me... the wheels. The fact that they are not symmetrical like most other wheels and that they are facing, what I would call, the "correct" way on the right side but not the same way on the left made my OCD go through the roof. Am I the only one who is bothered by this?

Luckily I am not OCD but I see your point. I don't much care for those wheels.

Almost looks like they are reversed (front on rear - rear on front) in the passenger side shot.
Maybe the dealer put them on backwards.

The problem with this world is stupidity.
I'm not saying there should be penalties for stupidity,
but why don't we just take the warning labels off everything and let the problem solve itself.

I want to know what one looks like when walking "vigorously" around a car?

Is that like power walking?

Would the dealer install the 50th anniv wheels? They don't come from the factory like that? Just curious.

just inspecting every aspect of the car such as laying on the ground and checking out the underside of the splitter and looking through the exhaust to see the flaps of the NPP

even on the official 50th anniversary pics of the drivers side, the wheels are facing the same way as they were at the dealership

I'm buying a 50th. Love the wheels, but I hate that they didn't make a rh and lh wheels for this car. Total lack of detail on gm's part. They were to cheep and lazy to do this the right way. The fact that they are opposite drives me nuts!!!

Maybe it's my eyes but it looks like the rear tire is smaller on the passenger side.

no I checked all of the tire sizes and they were correct. I just wished that they had a LH and a RH wheel because now I can't get my eyes off of it
