Do you think it would be beneficial to come off the supercharger with a straight fitting? anyone else tried this? Thinking it would be good to move it away from the exhaust

I wrapped insulation around the bottom of mine for that reason. Moving it would be better.

Ceramic coating on the headers. The tank doesn’t get very hot. Way less heat under the hood.

I have stock exhaust manifolds and I zip tied the tubing away from both the exhaust manifold and the serpentine belt. I'm confident there won't be any issues.

Thanks, must have glossed over that post. I'll probably go that route. Have ceramic coated csp headers going on right now, installing the resevoir once I get the supercharger back from porting. Also have some heat wrap ready to go for various wires and hoses, just trying to determine the best route for the hose to keep it away from the headers. Thanks again

I believe leaving the stock bleeder plastic fitting on the hose is a mistake. There is no reason for it at all and this fitting has been the source of a few failures. You can still bleed the circuit on the top with the little brass fitting and check flow there.

How often are you guys topping the reservoir with coolant?
Mine goes down to below the top hose after a few days of filling..

You either still have air in the system or a faulty cap. I went through the same thing. I had both, air and faulty cap.

Installed mine in May, the level hasn't changed.

Looks like mine wasn't bled enough after my cam install.
Removed cap, ICP & Fan on using my gauge and let her idle for 15 minutes. Added coolant every 5 minutes until it stayed level. She took around half a gallon more coolant Will observe closely
