Time to replace ?

What do you thin VW k? Looks like some cords are starting to show on the edge. Still a fair bit of tread left. These are SC3s.

Cords are showing. They are done

I have had tires like that flipped on the rim at the track just to finish the day but otherwise they are done.

If you have a lot of tread left in other areas then you need to assess your alignment. What do you run and where was the cording (outside shoulder?)

Might be good enough to run the streets awhile.

I am running 2 degrees camber. And ya it’s starting to cord it looks like on the outside shoulder.

Time to replace. If you are tracking the car make sure you are swapping the fronts after each track day. The driver front takes the beating. The fronts will last longer if you do.

Yes def swap tires to make them last a little longer next time.
If you are wearing on the outside shoulder and tread is good on the inner shoulders then it’s time for some more negative camber. -2.2 to -2.6 (what you can get out of the stock assembly). Surprised you have that much outer shoulder wear on the track alignment.

I agree. They'll be fine to run to and from work for a while (potentially a few months depending on your commute), but don't take them out for any more hard driving, they're done.
