Tow Hook
For a less expensive alternative, you can just have your tow hook in the trunk powder coated to match your car. Cost me 30$.

I leave mine on the whole time. But then again I just left it the stock black color so you can't even see it. I screwed it in pretty tight and don't see a need to break it loose after every track weekend to put back in the trunk. It's there for purpose, not looks on my car. To each their own though.

The only thing that would make is better is if you got a tag to attach to it that says "Tow Hook".

I don't see the point of leaving the tow hook installed.
In the insurance industry when these "race cars" with their took hooks end up in a collision with another vehicle, the damage to both cars is that much more. It's like driving with a damn rounded spear ready to puncture another car body. lol |

I spray painted mine with some red spray paint .... I do track my car but am yet to go off so badly I need the tow hook *knock on wood* yeah there's a lot of hate here for a simple tow hook. although it is slightly funny that this type of thing ends up in the "cosmetic modifications" section instead of the track section. not knockin' ya buddy, but found that amusing. here's to not having to use them  |

Did you have to cut your grill to put the tow hook in? I have an SS and it looks like the tow hook will not fit in between the grates in the grill. I think it looks great, by the way.

Panel pops out from the top with your finger nails. Very EASY. Look at Lethal Camaro's video of the ZL1 add-on tow hook.
