Thankfully, the car was fine and he was happy with it. He took delivery yesterday and we did a photo op with his 1967 Camaro on the showroom floor. He and his wife were so happy. It was an awesome moment. Definitely one of the highlights of my career.
Great post, very nice/cool story. Congrats to the new owners!

Wish me luck getting it on Friday!

Thanks,

Well, My ZL1 has been sitting in San Antonio, TX after getting off the railcar. It's been sitting there for a week now only 150 miles from me and my dealer. Finally today I was told that the GM of the dealership is sending a driver up to pick up the car and bring it down today. Salesman says I might take ownership tomorrow. Poor car's been in transit or intermediate shipping/bayed since late August!

At long last Give it a thorough detail and enjoy unleashing the beast Not sure about your break-in plans, but one way or another, I'm sure you'll have a ton of fun with it.

Thanks! I'm going from a ZL1 coupe to a ZL1 vert. Gonna have to invest in scarves and hair clips! The car's still not down here, yet. GM said he's offering more money for transports down south from San Antonio. He said no one wants to haul it on a dead run back to SA. He said he had one hired on Friday, but the driver got to the yard after it closed for the weekend. Hoping for news today.

Take care,

Tara
