I was thinking the exact same thing....just finished skimming to see if anyone else posted that same thought

If the m6 was .3 quicker around a much smaller track, could one venture to say .7-1 sec on the ring?

Regardless, the 1le demolished both. Good job!!

Yeah, but just look at how ridiculously expensive the GT3 is, starting from $143,600 according to their website and the turbo models start in the 160's. Can get 2 ZL1 1LE's for that starting $$. Always thought I wanted some variant of Porsche 911, but not now. Love my ZL1 .

The GT350R has tested there to be sure. With all of the videos and sneek peeks before I bought mine. I cannot say if Ford would own up to it.

I got so amped watching this video I had to go bang thru some gears myself. Totally AWESOME on what that car can do. And that driver wasn't half bad.

Interesting, did you see how going from 5th to 6th gear near the end the car doesn't keep accelerating much, but unlike that Hennessey video, doesn't slow down either... Maybe the A10 is going to still have the highest top speed....

The rear axle ratio in the A10 is different letting it attain a higher mph

Yeah I saw it top out about 174. Not really sure why that is. Definitely looked to hit a wall.

Aero drag is the reason it is slower and that is the price of having downforce.

No, Ford tests there but they do not release ring times. They never have released them like GM does

Iirc the auto hit a wall around the same mph but pulled to 181 on what looked like a downhill portion of the straight

But it still looks like the auto has a higher top speed according to Chevrolet and Hennessy.
